How to Delete
Your Account

You can permanently delete your ASAP Safety account at any time. This will remove all your personal data from our servers.

Delete from the app

    Open the ASAP Safety app

    Make sure you are logged into the account you want to delete.

    Go to your Profile

    Tap the person icon in the bottom-right corner of the navigation bar to open your profile.

    Scroll down to "Delete account"

    Scroll to the bottom of the profile screen and tap "Delete account" (or "Verwijder account" in Dutch).

    Confirm the deletion

    A confirmation dialog will appear. Tap Confirm to permanently delete your account. This action cannot be undone.

What gets deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed from our servers within 30 days:

  • Your profile

    Name, email, username, phone number, profile photo

  • Location history

    All SOS session and check-in location data

  • Safety Circles

    Your circles and contact relationships

  • Push token

    Your device notification token

  • Session history

    Records of past SOS sessions and check-ins

Note: Contacts who had you in their Safety Circle will be notified that you have left, but none of your personal data will remain visible to them after deletion.

Can't access the app?

If you no longer have access to your account or device, you can request deletion by contacting us directly. We will verify your identity and delete your account manually.
